Harry’s Shiraz Cabaret is an ever evolving musical feast of naughty novelty tunes from the early 1920’s and 30’s, interspersed with Harry Deluxe’s fabulous original music and hilarious brand of bawdy comedy.

A risqué blend of Bette Midler, Mae West, Rhonda Burchmore and Earl Okin, Harry brings a heavy dose of ‘what the Doctor ordered’ to Perth stages with this show, which is a collaboration between writer Melanie Bainbridge, Singer / Actor Harry Deluxe and a team of stellar Perth musicians, guest artists and random acts of weirdness.

This saucy show chronicles the life and times of a once sophisticated cabaret diva, who has found herself decadently dishevelled and on the road to a right rotten retirement. Through hilariously irreverent, yet poignantly reflective episodic vignettes, Harry recounts mad musical tales of her ‘Shiraz Cabaret’- stories of bawdy nights, naughty encounters, liquored-up lovers and a little of the harder stuff. 

Harry’s Shiraz Cabaret is never the same twice, so you can see the show time and time again and expect new tunes and fresh unholy hysteria from the original Siren of Swing.
