Dorothy-Jane Duo House Concert

Award winning singer, songwriter, blues-harp player, Dorothy-Jane 'DJ' Gosper, has a reputation as Canberra’s “Jazz and Blues force of nature” (BMA Magazine) and Australia’s “Queen of the blues-harp” (ABC Radio Canberra). Audiences will be treated to an intimate concert of originals and standards from this generous, powerhouse contralto vocalist who makes her harmonica “strut like an alley cat” (BMA Magazine). She weaves her stories through songs, “lightheartedly baring her soul without any pretentiousness” (Rhythms Magazine) and is accompanied by songwriter, composer and keyboard player extraordinaire, Michael Dooley, who may be convinced to sing a witty song or two!
