The VGLRL works for and with the whole gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) communities to end discrimination and to achieve equality and social justice.
The night aims to raise money so that the VGLRL can work with their partners to represent the LQBTIQ communities leading up to the 2014 Victorian Election, in a bid to influence the adoption of policies and law reform that will benefit these communities such as:
- Discrimination reform
- Adoption reform
- Having gay sex convictions expunged
- Combating Homophobia & Violence
