Line Up
Ulla Shay
Ulla Shay (formally known as Candice Lorrae) is a young Australian Indigenous Singer/Songwriter that has grown up with a passion for music and performance. In May 2009, Ulla Shay received two awards at the ‘WA TOO SOLID Music Awards’ for ‘Female Artist of the Year’ and over all ‘Gold 'n' Solid’ award for 'Artist of the Year'.
John Bennett
John Bennett was born in Derby and is a member of the Bidyadanga community, located on the remote lands of Karajarri country between the Indian Ocean and the Great Sandy Desert in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. His songs offer a unique insight into John Bennett’s world: a journey into the remote and beautiful North West part of Australia. Songs full of yearning, too be home with his people and celebrations of important people in his life. “Wangkaja” the opening track of his debut album has recently won the WA Indigenous of the Year Award 2011. John was also nominated for WA Indigenous Act of the Year and Male Artist of the Year at this Deadly Awards at the Sydney Opera House for 2011.
Bartlett Brothers

Jake and the Cowboys
Don’t be fooled by the name – there’s no Jake nor obvious western theme. A gifted lyric, definable vocal, melodic sound and a passion for performing define Jake and the Cowboys to a tee. Since forming in 2009, the Cowboys have been delivering a fresh brand of pop/folk/rock to various venues around the Perth music scene and have earned themselves a strong loyal following. With unique life experiences and culture provided from all 4 band members the Cowboys have notched up double WAMi nominations, performed at the One Movement for Music Festival, WAMi Festival 2011, The Australasian World Music Expo 2011
Yabu Band
Since beginning at the age of five, multi-talented brothers, Delson and Boyd Stokes, known today as 'Yabu Band', have created a powerful, unique sound aptly described as Desert Rock/Reggae. The brothers are originally from Kalgoorlie, the Goldfields town bordered by the Western Desert from where they draw their heritage, culture and inspiration. Awarded nine national music awards including a Deadly Award, Yabu have performed at some Australia's biggest festivals including WOMADelaide, The Dreaming Festival, The Darwin Festival and the Woodford Folk festival. Their latest single, 'Petrol Paint & Glue' has been quoted, "One of the most sweetest-saddest ballads songs released in the English and Wongutha languages".
