Incursion presents: The Black Masquerade

Be dark. Be mysterious. Be mischievous. Be hidden. 

Incursion’s first party of 2015 sees us host our second annual Masquerade. This isn’t your average masquerade however… prepare yourself for THE BLACK MASQUERADE.

On the 4th of April 2015 our usual haunt, the heritage-listed Gilkisons Dance Studio, will be decked out in elegant gothic décor that will be given a razor sharp edge by the blood red lighting and caged performers. 

With two levels of entertainment for you to muse over, you'll be kicking on until the wee hours of the morning.

Downstairs will see Perth’s Best Alternative DJ's keep you stomping the night away with the best and latest mix of 80's, Industrial, EBM, Metal, Goth and Alternative tunes.

Elvi the Art God returns as our artist in residence to create another live human masterpiece!

Lurking behind the dark velvet curtain upstairs is Incursion's live music dungeon. We throw up a big middle finger and yell a “Fuck Dat” to the fact that Perth doesn’t get Soundwave (or even a sidewave) this year.

We've rounded up the best in town and our local talent will deliver sets from “The Legends of Soundwave” performing music from Rob Zombie, Fear Factory, Korn and many more. Come break your neck.

A tongue-in-cheek cover-project formed by members from Voyager, The Floors, Mercurial, The Osiris Corporation, Pyromesh, Terminal & Animal. King Onion head to Incursion to smash out an encore performance of their 2014 Korn tribute along with tracks from other legends such as Marilyn Manson, Rammstien and more.

Rob Zombie as Performed by Reapers Riddle
For five years, Reaper's Riddle have built a solid reputation as one of Perth's most dynamic and hard-working heavy music acts. Exploding onto the scene in 2009 with their self-titled LP demo, the band's record-breaking debut launch resulted in a packed-out venue being completely sold out of alcohol by 11pm. This highly successful event left an indelible impression on the local rock/metal scene and captured the attention of key music industry figures, including Adam Weston (Birds Of Tokyo) who released the 'Reaper's Riddle demo' through his Firestarter Distribution label. 

Reapers make their first appearance at incursion to perform classic tracks from one of their major influences Rob Zombie.

Solifugae penetrate ear drums, and rip you apart, we'll leave your legs shaking and thats just the start! Solifugae have made their reputation around Perth by playing performing iconic metal covers from legendary bands!

Solifugae will kick start our night by paying tribute to industrial metal pioneers Fear Factory.
