With their second album, Liberator, receiving worldwide acclaim hailed as "...the Prog/Power release to beat for 2014" by Metal Crypt and "...an album you simply have to own" by Metal As Fuck, Divine Ascension is embarking on a national tour throughout Australia in April and May 2015.
Divine Ascension take the genre of female fronted metal to a whole new level. The band have continued to surprise metal fans the world over with their iconic breed of melodic/progressive metal. A definite force to be reckoned with in the emerging metal scene, Divine Ascension hail from Melbourne, Australia and are led by the enigmatic Jennifer Borg - a voice once heard, not easily forgotten.
Special guests joining Divine Ascension on the night are Awaken Solace, a band that combines a dark mix of symphonic metal with theatrical, orchestral power metal and medieval baroque and fantasy-style soundtracks. Dark Symphonica will be bringing elements of power thrash, progressive, and classical styles to the fore and Flynn Effect will provide a European theatricality, as well as a visual show to rival their killer sonic performance.
