Festivale, one of Tasmania’s longest running food and wine events, celebrates the best of Tasmania’s produce, cool climate wines, beer, ciders and whiskey from 13 - 15 February, 2015 in Launceston’s picturesque City Park.
Winner of the 2014 CGU Launceston Chamber of Commerce’s Outstanding Visitor Experience Award, Festivale will feature more than 70 stalls.
Master Classes will be held in the Park Room, Design Tasmania, located at the western end of City Park.
Festivale celebrations will kick off on Friday 13 February when award winning chef, restaurateur, food writer and now TV presenter, Peter Kuruvita shares his passion for cooking at the annual Festivale Lunch at award winning restaurant, Stillwater.
Join us for a culinary experience as guest chef Peter Kuruvita, Craig Will, Executive Chef, Stillwater restaurant, renowned Tasmanian chef, John T Bailey and former My Kitchen Rules contestants, Thalia and Bianca cook in the Conservatory on Sunday 15 February.
Festivale’s outdoor theatre will feature non-stop local and interstate entertainment. Mental as Anything, The Eurogliders, Grace Knight, former Powderfinger, guitarist, Darren Middleton and a line-up of fantastic local talent will grace two stages in City Park.
Dance, roving performers, international street theatre and the Tiny Top return. We haven’t forgotten the kids either! There are plenty of free activities in Kid’s Kingdom.
