Festivale 2016

Festivale, one of Tasmania’s longest running food and wine events, celebrates the best of Tasmania’s produce, cool climate wines, beer, ciders and whiskey from 12 - 14 February, 2016 in Launceston’s picturesque City Park. 

Festivale celebrations will kick off on Friday 14 February when award winning chef, restaurateur and food writer Greg Malouf shares his passion for cooking at the annual Festivale Lunch at award winning restaurant, Stillwater. 

Festivale’s outdoor theatre will feature non-stop local and interstate entertainment. Kate Ceberano Friday night, Wendy Matthews Saturday night and also singing Jazz on Sunday performing Billie Holiday favourites and a line-up of fantastic local talent will grace two stages in City Park. 

Dance, roving performers, international street theatre and the Tiny Top return. We haven’t forgotten the kids either! There are plenty of free activities in Kid’s Kingdom. 

Tamar Valley Wine Route Experiences - Masterclasses will be held Saturday and Sunday at Design Tasmania, located in City Park. Indulge in a palate-pleasing array of Tasmanian wine, beer, cider, spirits and produce and engage with some of Tasmania's most inspirational food and beverage producers.
