What say's first week of spring better than fresh blooms?!
Most of us have experienced the surprise and delight of a potluck dinner. The concept of everyone bringing a plate of food to share amongst friends is nothing new. So - what is a Flower Potluck?
Much like a potluck dinner, a Flower Potluck borrows the concept of bringing something along. Although instead of mums famous roast beef (with all the trimmings) guests bring a bunch of blooms. Flowers are mixed-and-matched and shared among guests, over a lesson in bouquet making by the sassy and super sweet Rebecca Const of Fox and Rabbit.
The class includes foraging for foliages, arrangement construction and care, as well as flower tips and tricks from the best in the biz.
We'll then gather around a long table on an a magnificent property and share a meal together, prepared by none other than the crew from Kent Street Deli. Your ticket also includes morning tea.
What do I bring?
- 10 stems of your favourite fragrant / perfectly blush / big and bold or wispy and whimsey bloom.
- Appropriate shoes for foraging, gumboots are always a perfect choice.
- A heart for adventure!
- Your favourite vase with an opening diameter no wider than 13cms!
