_________WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT________


Time is running out … We urgently need funds for Elke to ensure she receives the required treatment to save her life – a kind-hearted, bubbly, positive, intelligent, beautiful 26 year old Australian woman who may have as little as 10% chance of survival if treatment is not started immediately.

Elke was recently diagnosed with chronic Lyme Disease with fatal associated co-infections. She has been in severe pain, unable to work and bed-ridden for over 18 months. Time was lost due to a number of previous incorrect diagnoses, so her immune system is now severely impaired - even a common cold or flu could be fatal.

Like many chronic immune disorders, due to its complexities, is difficult, and often impossible to cure. These are compounded when there are co-infections involved – the presence of co-infections adds an additional layer of severity and complexity to the disease. However, with appropriate treatment there can be remission of active disease, whereby the patient is symptom and pain-free. 

There are hospitals in Germany that specialise in the treatment of chronic Lyme disease and co-infections, where people from all over the world go for treatment. This is where Elke will be receiving treatment once she can raise the money to begin 

The Australian government refuses to acknowledge that Lyme Disease exists in the country, so her treatment is not covered by the national health system. This means that Elke cannot get the complete treatment she needs in Australia 


**Working along side her family & friends I will be hosting this event to help with raising much needed funds to get her started on the treatment which could help save her life. All money raised on the night, including those from ticket sales, raffles, auctions and prizes all goes towards this very important cause...
