Magnificat sees the organ joined by Voyces, a Perth based choral ensemble at the forefront of contemporary classical choral music conducted by Dr Robert Braham, as well as a countertenor, harp, and percussionist. The concert will showcase music composed in the last 40 years, including Leonard Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, choral works by Arvo Pärt, Elena Kats-Chernin and James MacMillan, as well as organ solos by Giles Swayne, Andrew Newcombe and Philip Glass.
