PlayBox is back on the Sunday night of the October long weekend on Oxford Street!
Hold onto your hats again ladies and gentlemen because this October long weekend you are in for a treat with the return of Sydney's silliest LGBTIQ party PlayBox!
After a ludicrous and much lauded launch in June, Sydney's funnest party bounces out of the box again on Sunday night 6 October from 10pm. Featuring playful and masterful DJs Stephen Simpson, Ric Dreske and none other than the one and only Ruby himself. Allow your inner young mischievous soul to be awakened with production, lasers and sound delivered by an expert team that knows no peers.
Transformed into one big rumpus room with a twist of gaming arcade, the Parlour on Oxford Street will be the place to have a flutter and take a punt on your chances playing games. Go berserk with silly buggers and big kids, naughty and nice!
AVI the friendly robot is your audiovisual avatar, pied piper of tunes and synaesthesic master of ceremonies. He’s your journeyman of adventure guiding you to your destination with his supersonic beats amongt a bevy of lasers synchronised and synergised to a smorgasbord of symmetrical sounds.
This night alone in the PlayBox, your PlayStation is dwarfed, your Xbox looks sad and your Scruff is screwed as you happily hand over the controllers and let go. A surreal and hedonistic romp awaits you as your console operators Stephen, Ric, Ruby and AVI know no sight or sound bounds...
