Power Personalities: The Emerging Players Series

It’s a commonly held view that people who perform best in business are extroverts. Sure, the likes of Zaha Hadid, Philippe Starck and Marcel Wanders add weight to this assumption; each with their own seemingly ostentatious personality and larger-than-life public persona. But what are they like behind closed doors, when there’s no new product to launch or no recently completed building to open?

This hotly-debated issue has many in the industry questioning whether extroverts are infact the opposite of what the industry needs right now – petitioning that it takes an ambivert to be a successful design leader.
