The ‘Symphony of Australia’ is a remarkable, Australiana-themed musical production featuring a chamber orchestra, soaring vocals, and iconic Australian bush poetry.
A completely unique and fascinating show that combines classic Australian poetry from the likes of Banjo Paterson and Dorothea Mackellar, with magical musical accompaniment by international opera stars Renae Martin and Jose Carbo, along with the Australian Institute of Music Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Gavin Lockley.
The Symphony of Australia comes to the Cassegrain Winery in Port Macquarie on Sunday 7 June, with the gates opening from 2.00pm and the main event starting at 5.00pm.
Set in the natural amphitheatre amongst the gorgeous vineyards and stunning rose gardens of this mid north coast winemaker, this concert will offer the ideal 'wine, cheese and symphony' experience.
Also featuring local performance groups from the local Port Macquarie community, there will be several curtain raiser segments before the main event.
