Sam, Rose and Avery biker, laugh and dream their way through shifts at one of the last remaining film projection cinemas in Massachusetts. New kid Avery has an encyclopaedic obsession with film, and Sam has an unrequited obsession with Rose. Rose does what Rose wants to do. With keen insight and a finely tuned comedic eye, Annie Baker examines hidden corners of our existence, revealing the gems of truth that reside therein.
