Twice Upon A Caravan

In 1932, after a Harvard post-graduate year studying architecture in Europe, 22- year old Robert Fulton decided to review Asia’s building achievements.  Travelling eastward alone on a Douglas motorcycle, the wonders of the world soon proved instead to be its people, the bricks and motor just their reflection.



This 58 minute movie documents 40,000 miles through 20 countries on 3 continents is an extraordinary record of a changing world seen through the eyes of a venturesome motorcycle traveller.
