The Aboriginal Business Directory WA (ABDWA) is one of two directories prescribed to validate Aboriginal ownership under the WA Government’s Aboriginal Procurement Policy. To ensure that only genuine Aboriginal-owned businesses are supported by this policy, the ABDWA team is pleased to assist businesses to meet the required criteria.
You are invited to attend this workshop to understand how to utilise the Gateway by ICN portal more effectively to maximise your opportunities to win work on projects.
You will also have the opportunity to meet and hear from one of our supporting partners Ausco Modular on what opportunities they have for Indigenous suppliers.
Please note: This workshop is only for Aboriginal-owned businesses.
Places are limited and we plan on running these workshops bimonthly, hence there will be more opportunities to attend if you miss this one.
Please only register if you can attend. If you register and decide not to attend, please notify us so others will not miss out on this opportunity.
What to bring:
Whilst not necessary (as you can take notes if this is preferred), you can bring your laptop to enable you to work within your own company profile. This will be a hands-on workshop where you'll have the opportunity to run through practical exercises.
Special guest:
BCI Minerals is proud to partner with ABDWA to open more doors for Aboriginal-owned businesses.
BCI has commenced operations in the Pilbara on Australia’s largest salt project. As operations ramp up, BCI is continuing to maximise Indigenous businesses in its procurement strategy.
Having spent $11 million with Indigenous businesses last year, we’re excited to see how our new partnership inspires economic empowerment across our network.
