Anning Park Community Planting Event

The Nyungar season of Makuru in June and July is when rainfall is most abundant, making it the perfect time to plant new seedlings. 

The City is aiming to plant 40,000 seedlings and 160 mature trees during this period in 2023.

However, we need your help!

We are hosting a range of planting events this season and you are all invited to join us. These events are FREE and full of fun. Best of all they help to improve habitat and biodiversity within conservation reserves.

Please wear long pants, encolsed footwear and a watter bottle.

Morning Tea and refreshments will be supplied.
