Set to be held on Saturday 2 April at the Pullman Hotel in Albert Park, the summit will feature over 16 influential speakers, with guests listening to keynote talks by Susan Alberti AC, Laura Anderson, and a range of other women.
The network was founded by CEO Francesca Thorne, a former executive with over 30 years’ experience in Corporate Management. Francesca started the Australian Women’s Network with the mission to help women harness and develop their leadership qualities to accelerate the empowerment of women.
CEO of Best & Less, Board Member of Woolworths, Channel Nine, and newly appointed non-executive director of the Australia Post Board, Holly Kramer, along CEO of Harcourts Victoria, Sadhana Smiles will also be keynote speakers at the event.
The one-day event will also feature a panel hosted by Channel Nine’s Jo Hall, which will have a Barrister and Real Housewives star, Gina Liano, CEO of Safe Futures Foundation, Janine Mahoney, International Interior Designer, Katerina Kapellaki, Founder of Adorn Cosmetics, Briony Kennedy, and Creator of where4events and NetCABS, Caroline Woodhouse, and Vice President of Morgan Stanley Elaine Jacobs.
Along with the panel, there will be special breakout room talks by CEO of Virtual Legal, Katie Richards, Director of The Inside Job, Nathalie Binette, CEO of Aromababy, Catherine Cervasio, CEO of Style Confidante, Melissa Lewis, CEO of Nourissh, Amanda Campbell, and CEO of Xtreme Freight, Amanda O’Brien.
In the evening, join us at the Blue Frost Gala Ball with special guest performances by Harrison Craig and Big City Beat, along with a special onstage live performance from Australian artist, Matteo Charles, along with a dance extravaganza by Ministry of Dance group Steps and Sounds. There will also be a moving talk from Safe Futures Foundation CEO, Janine Mahoney — not to mention a gift bag worth waiting for.
Produced by Adriana Brusi, founder of Event Negotiators (the company behind bringing Sir Richard Branson and Tim Ferriss to Australia in 2012), the event will be hosted by Melissa Hetherington with the aim to provide people with a platform to network with other leading business owners and CEO’s. To learn from their inspirational stories and develop valuable tactics that they can apply in the running of their own business to realise their dream outcome.
In addition to the great networking opportunities, this year’s event will be supporting The Safe Futures Foundation, with $25.00 from every ticket going to this amazing cause, as well as a live auction at the Gala Ball.
