Event Description

Early morning Monday 23 February 1976. The rapidly rising Rock Band AC/DC prepare to film a music video on the back of a flatbed truck. The images of the band rolling down Swanston Street, Melbourne, with bagpipers in tow will go on to become the most iconic music video ever recorded in Australia.

The anthem It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll) was born and permanently etched into the history books of Australian rock music.
