The Blue Show (Monday 20th August)

Our 1st show for 2018 is over 2 hours (9 films) of mixed adventure films from across the globe. Join us for a mix of cycling, climbing, skiing, kayaking and other thought-provoking short films. If you're down for sweeping landscapes, solo adventures, and people achieving unthinkable feats, the Blue show is for you!

The Red Show (Thursday 30th August)

Following the BLUE show, we bring you another 2 hours of inspirational films (7 films) which are sure to send you home ready to conquer the rest of 2018! If you are all about setting records, reaching goals, overcoming adversity and a having a few giggles along the way, then the RED show is for you!

The 2018 Program

The world's most prestigious mountain film festival is back in Singapore! The 2018 Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour showcases 2 nights with over 4 hours of the most enthralling mountain adventure films on the planet.  will have you planning your next adventure before the credits roll.

This year, the Singapore line-up features over 4 hours of of captivating short films shot in some of the most wild and remote corners of the world. Sure to enthral, it showcases a selection of films packed full of mesmerizing cinematography, thought-provoking storylines and adrenalin-inducing action sequences.

Last year we took our audience on a rollercoaster of emotions across the globe through a wide range of activites and countries. This year we've doubled the film time to pack in as much as action as possible into two nights.

Audiences will see the world through the lenses of some of the most accomplished climbers, paddlers, skiers, snowboarders, mountaineers, mountain bikers, explorers and adventure filmmakers alive today.

The History

The Banff Mountain Film Festival is one of the most prestigious international film competitions and is an annual presentation of short films and documentaries about mountain culture, sports, and environment. It was launched in 1976 as The Banff Festival of Mountain Films by The Banff Centre and is held every October in Banff, Canada.

Approximately 375 films are entered into the film festival annually, and the top 80 films are selected by a pre-screening committee to be shown at the week long festival in Canada. During the festival, the international film festival jury chooses the best films and presents awards in various categories including: Best Film on Mountain Sport, Best Film on Mountain Environment, Best Film on Mountain Culture, Best Film on Exploration and Adventure and more.

What's the refund policy?

• Unfortunately there will be no refunds available for this event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

• Your ticket will be required for your cinema entry, once this has been redeemed you will be given a wristband allowing you to exit and re-enter the cinema.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

• The name on the order is recommended to collect the tickets. If the buyer is unable to collect, written consent from the buyer should be presented to verify the arrangement at the venue on the day. If you have any questions or cocerns please contact us to discuss.
