Bike Month | Bling your bike

Get creative this Bike Month and decorate your bike or scooter while learning how to ride and roll safely. 

What to expect:

• information about basic bike safety


• learn how to wear a helmet correctly 


• tips to stay safe while riding your bike


• fun craft creations to personalise and brighten your ride (materials provided)


• parade around the brand new Duncraig Adventure Hub (weather permitting, helmets essential).

What to bring:

• bike or scooter


• helmet


• wear enclosed shoes


• water bottle.

Families are encouraged to ride or scoot to this event. 

Please note:

• Parents/carers are reuqired by library policy to remain in the building while thier children attend the event.


• Parent/carer supervision is required for the park ride parade.


• Bookings open online, 9.30am on Monday 15 September. Tickets are required and no refunds will be provided for cancellations/non attendance.


• Due to strong community interest, if you can no longer attend please contact the City's Active Transport Officer on 9400 4000 so your ticket can be reallocated.
