Event Description
The Blue Mountains Music Festival of Folk Roots and Blues takes place in Katoomba and will be held 17th – 19th March 2023.
The festival site is home to 7 performance venues presenting 90+ performances.
- The Festival will adhere to NSW Health’s Covid19 guidelines that will be in place at time of the event.
- Should the festival be cancelled because of Covid19 then all tickets are refundable or transferable according to our Ticketing 'Terms and Conditions’

Ticket Information
- All tickets allow entry to all stages, concerts and events for the valid period of the ticket.
- Concessions are S.U.P.S. (i.e. Student, Unemployed, Pensioner, Senior Cards)
- BMMF supports the Companion Tickets Scheme — email us at [email protected]
- A one-ticket entry to the festival site allows patrons access to any or all of the performances and events for the valid period of the ticket.
- We do not sell single concert tickets for any of the performances unless they are specially funded community events.
- There is no reserved seating in any of the venues.
- All venues have seating, usually of the plastic, stackable kind of outdoor seating which is comfortable enough for us, but if you bring a small cushion please do not use it for "reserving" a seat.
- A free festival program is provided for every festival-goer that includes performer profiles, appearance times and locations and a map of the festival precinct.
- Programs are available from the Festival Shop and at the entrances some stages and venues.
