Event Description
Boodjar biddi guided walk - South Lake

Embark on a Journey of Cultural Discovery!

Join us for a captivating guided tour of your backyard bushland with Cyril Yarran, a knowledgeable and passionate First Nations guide.

Immerse yourself in the traditions, ancient wisdom, and connection to the land as you explore your local patch: Bolderwood Reserve, located within Bloodwood Park in South Lake. Learn about Nyungar perspectives on nature, wildlife, and the relationship between humans and the environment.

This experience is an opportunity to foster understanding, appreciation, and respect for the ancestral heritage of the Wadjuk Nyungar people, and learn about your local bushland.

Meet at the Nature Discovery Day marquee, Bloodwood Park. Please register.

This is an all-ages event, remember to bring a hat!

This event is held as part of the City of Cockburn's Nature Discovery Day, connecting communities with their local bushland. Sign up for a FREE guided walk, hands-on activity, or just pop down and have a chat with the Sustainability and Climate Change team.
