Paint Your Own Ceramic Jewellery with Bonnie Hislop

Paint with homewares and accessories creator Bonnie Hislop. In this class you will create your own design on either a pair of ceramic earrings or a set of two brooches, with a selection of different shapes to choose from. You will learn the fundamentals of illustration on ceramics and gain an understanding of ceramic paints (underglazes) and various surface decoration techniques. This class will give you the fundamentals of painting ceramic jewellery and give you the skills to practice at home.

Workshop Includes: Ceramic underglazes, paint brushes, paint palettes, blank jewellery pieces handmade by Bonnie, and glazing and firing surface.

Skill Level: All Levels

Class Cost: $40

Students Bring: Just yourself and ideas for your pieces.

NOTE: The ceramic pieces will need to be fired up at Bonnie’s studio for pick up 2 weeks after the Fair. For those who live out of Brisbane, please bring a self-addressed paid padded envelope or box with you to the class.

PLEASE NOTE: Studio class is available for visitors to the show. Class fee does not include the entry ticket which must be purchased separately.
