CCI is delivering this free event as part of a joint initiative with the Office of Emergency Management and the Department of Home Affairs to help businesses better prepare for and recover from natural disasters.
Speakers:
Rachael Lincoln, Senior Consultant, Safety and Risk Services, CCI
Rachael is an experienced senior consultant with hands-on experience working with a diverse range of industries including health and community services, manufacturing, mining, offshore oil and gas, retail, education and government authorities. Rachael will take businesses through the key processes involved in preparing for a disaster including reviewing organisational structure, conducting a business impact analysis, critical record management and emergency response procedures.
Richard Pieper, Program Leader, State Preparedness at the Office of Emergency Management
Richard has over twenty years of experience in emergency services including positions at Australian Customs and Border Protection, the Australian Federal Police and the Joint Organised Crime Task Force. He has a bird's eye view of how good preparation, planning and execution comes together in an emergency to give businesses and communities their best chance of survival. Richard will provide us with a timely update on current natural disaster risks in WA and the priority areas that need our focus.
