Business Consultation - Shaping the Economic Future of Joondalup

The City of Joondalup invites you to attend this interactive workshop to inform the development of a new Economic Development Strategy. The current Economic Development Strategy: Expanding Horizons, was last updated in 2017, and the City wants to hear how things have changed for local businesses and the economy.  

The City’s business community and local stakeholders are encouraged to attend this workshop to share your thoughts on the key economic strengths, opportunities and challenges today, and moving forward, and how we can work together to realise Joondalup’s full economic potential.  

Join us on Tuesday 21 March for a two hour interactive workshop, facilitated by FAR Lane Economics, where we will: 

• Provide an overview of the City of Joondalup’s community and economy.


• Explore the role that Local Government plays in economic development, and what that means for local businesses.


• Share insights from recent consultation activities, including the 2022 Business Perceptions Survey.


• Facilitate an interactive conversation with participants to explore the City’s economic potential, opportunities and challenges.
