CIWA Workplace Relations Conference

The Road Ahead: Preparing for Uncertainty

Join us for the inaugural CCIWA Workplace Relations Conference featuring an array of topics across the fields of human resources, workplace health and safety and industrial relations.

With the upcoming federal elections, there's likely to be a significant change in the workplace relations space. Our industry experts will share their insights into how your business can be best prepared for the changes and give you a range of knowledge and practical skills to utilise back at your workplace.

Our day will be very interactive with lots of variety, consisting of general plenary sessions and concurrent sessions.

Gain practical insight into unfair dismissal proceedings before the Fair Work Commission by being involved in a mock trial. This unique session will be conducted by experts with years of experience and overseen by Deputy President Abbey Beaumont who will outline her views on how the Commission might view the various aspects of the case. This session will offer you strategies, tips and plenty of best practice advice.

Our MC for the day is broadcaster, TV presenter, author and former lawyer, Tony Wilson. Tony was the winner of ABC TV documentary series 'Race around the World' and is a naturally engaging speaker with humorous off-the-cuff style.

Your ticket includes access to all sessions and speakers, plus lunch, morning/afternoon tea.
