Event Description

An increasing number of WA businesses including owners and directors are being investigated or have been prosecuted under chain of responsibility laws.

Prosecutions are not limited to just transport companies but also include owners and directors of their customers.

Quite simply if your company engages a transport company to deliver for you, you can be held liable for certain breaches of law. The Chain of Responsibility laws are punitive with serious levels of fines and sanctions.

Join us for a briefing to find out about the laws, and how you and your staff can avoid being prosecuted.

Topics include:

  • Lessons learnt from the over 200 prosecutions in WA

  • How Changes in the law will effect your East Coast operations

  • How DB Schenker manages CoR compliance (regarded as the industry Gold Standard)
