Join CCI and City of Kwinana for drinks and canapes, meet other business leaders, and hear from our special guest speakers as they discuss the key measures you can take to safeguard your business from natural disasters.
CCI is delivering this free event as part of a joint initiative with the Office of Emergency Management and the Department of Home Affairs to help businesses better prepare for and recover from natural disasters.
Speakers:
Richard Pieper, Program Leader — State Preparedness, Office of Emergency Management has a bird’s eye view of how good preparation, planning and execution comes together in an emergency to give businesses and communities their best chance of survival. He will provide us with a timely update on current natural disaster risks in WA and the priority areas that need our focus.
Megan Dowding, Policy Research Officer, CCI will take businesses through the key processes involved in preparing for a disaster including reviewing organisational structure, conducting a business impact analysis, critical record management and emergency response procedures.
