City of Mount Gambier Stage Band Awards & ANZ Vocal Ensemble Awards

The National Stage Band Awards and Vocal Ensemble Awards for school participants takes learning out of the rehearsal room and onto the stage, providing young students with the ‘next step’ in their musical journey.

Don't miss your chance to hear these hot sounds from over 295 of Australia’s coolest school jazz ensembles!

With bands beginning to roll in from 7:30pm, this Saturday program is packed with an amazing showcase of some of Australia’s best and brightest ‘Next Generation’ of musicians who will be competing for top honours for their respective schools.

Over 4000 emerging musicians of all ages and from across the country have been preparing their repertoire for their time on stage. With performances taking place in 10 different pavilions across the Generations in Jazz Festival Precinct the City of Mount Gambier National Stage Band Awards and ANZ Vocal Ensemble Awards is an experience that competing students and audience are unlikely to forget.
