Closing Loopholes Bill Update

The next tranche of IR reform is getting closer to becoming law with the second part of the Closing Loopholes Bill progressing through Parliament. This now includes a right for employees to disconnect from work. Amongst other changes are strengthened powers for unions to enter a workplace without notice and changes to enterprise agreement bargaining that will create an unfair playing field for employers, changes to casual employment and changes that will impact on the road transport industry and related supply chains.
