Cockatoo Island Open Day: Heritage Fleet around the Island 12pm

Arrive to Cockatoo Island Open Day in style on board Sydney Heritage Fleet's 1902 steam tug Waratah.

For those wanting to experience a heritage boat ride around Cockatoo Island, there will be 2 special sails around the island. The sail will depart from the Camber Wharf on Cockatoo Island at 12pm and 1:30pm. Please meet 10 minutes early to ensure a prompt departure.

Important Information

• Stilettos, sharp-heeled shoes and smoking strictly prohibited.


• Please be aware that the weather can change during the day. A windproof jacket is useful whatever the weather as it may be breezy and cold out on the harbour.


• Due to the heritage nature of all the heritage boat, they are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Access to toilets is by a step on the deck.
