Fast rising endearing Brisbane punks Columbus have released their brand new single ‘Raindrop’, the very first taste of their highly anticipated forthcoming debut album Spring Forever out via UNFD on August 26th. Produced by Jay Maas (Title Fight, The Menzingers), Spring Forever is an earnest exploration of life and love via their seasons. Along with the news, Columbus has announced their massive ‘Spring Forever Tour’, which is sure to bring a tear to the eye of any in-tune Australian rock fan.
You will be able to catch the trio nationwide in October and November with Poison City indie rock upstarts Horror My Friend who have been tearing up the country on the back of their debut album ‘Stay In, Do Nothing’. Byron Bay’s fastest growing new rock export PLTS will also be bringing their catchy anthems along for the ride after the release of their single ‘On & On’.
After the release of their highly successful EP release ‘Home Remedy’, which clocked up over 3500 on Bandcamp in 2015 alone, Columbus hit the road to play to packed out venues on national tours with Hands Like Houses and Real Friends (USA), an appearance on Soundwave Festivals mainstage and even received Best Newcomer and Best EP Release of 2015 via Blunt Magazine. The band jumped straight into 2016 with a much sought after appearance on Unify. Straight after wooing massive crowds on the festival, the band signed to UNFD (Northlane, In Hearts Wake, Hellions). Since then they’ve kept the momentum rolling, supporting Basement, Turnover and The Ataris.
