Community Planting Day-Rehabilitating Roe 8

This event kicks off the Rehabilitating Roe 8 planting program for 2025! Karak Cooby Bushcarers have been working hard to hand weed their patch and it's time to plant again. We will be installing a 'woody meadow' and doing infill planting in the area planted in 2024.

Gather your friends and family for a fun filled morning improving habitat values and enhancing biodiversity in the corridor. Morning tea will be provided. Please arrive at 8.45 to sign in and get your gear. There will be a Welcome to Country at 9am sharp.

What to bring

• Full water bottle 


• Gardening gloves (some spares will be available)


• Long pants/trousers 


• Enclosed footwear 


• Hat and sun protection (sunscreen)


• Wet weather gear

Meeting location: Malvolio Road, gate opposite Elinor Reserve.

Parking: Along Malvolio Road and adjacent streets. Please be mindful of resident's driveways.
