STAR IN THE COMMON PEOPLE DANCE EISTEDDFOD AT JOONDALUP FESTIVAL 2026!
Come and live out your Flashdance dreams by joining one of our four teams for the Common People Dance Eisteddfod!
Be part of something extraordinary - no experience necessary, just bring yourself and a willingness to have fun.
We’re looking for people of ALL ages, ALL abilities, and ALL levels of attitude - whether you’re flying solo, coming with mates, wrangling the family, or representing your workplace or club.
PICK YOUR TEAM
This year all rehearsals will be held at either Beaumaris Community Centre or Warwick Hall with different rehearsal schedules, giving you the flexibility to pick what works best for you.
All participants should be available to attend most of the rehearsals, plus the dress rehearsal and final performance at RNDM Perfoming Arts Centre.

The Common People Dance Eisteddfod is your one big chance to live out your Dirty Dancing fantasy, break out your frickin’ awesome Napolean Dynamite moves, or unleash your Super Freak routine – velcro pants optional.
It's not to be taken seriously, but it will be seriously awesome.

We work with every dancer to ensure you can participate fully and shine on stage. This is about adapting the choreography to showcase YOUR strengths, not forcing anyone into a mould.
