Communities Shaping the Future: The Power of Youth

With the schools strike movement in Australia and around the world, it is obvious that young people are very concerned about the environment and the future of our place on Earth. And rightly so, as they will be the ones who will inherit the mess we have left them.

Transition Tatura's 2019 Communities Shaping the Future film festival will focus on the Power of Youth. Come and listen to inspirational kids and young adults who are passionate about the environment, hear about initiatives for young people and see short films they have made.

Winning films from a short-film competition run by Transition Tatura for school children of Tatura will be shown and short-film entries from a second competition run by Transition Tatura for all Goulburn Valley schools will be shown and the winners voted by the audience during the film festival. The film makers will also be invited to answer any questions you may have.
