2018 CROWN GROUP AUSTRALIAN BADMINTON OPEN


(HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300)


The 2018 Crown Group Australian Badminton Open will be the highest prize money badminton event played in Australia of US$150,000. This event is part of the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300 and is a BWF sanctioned tournament which carries significant world ranking points for all 5 disciplines in MS, WS, MD, WD, XD. Badminton fans will be treated to a strong players line up from over 20 countries.


The tournament will be held at the QuayCentre, Sydney Olympic Park from 8-13 May 2018. BWF has reported it to be one of the best venues for a world class badminton event and worthy of the many fans, officials, and media from all over who come to Sydney for this event.

In 2017, the Crown Group Australian Badminton Open won the prestigious NSW Sporting Event of the Year awarded by Sport NSW the peak body representing New South Wales Sports. The organiser of this event Badminton Australia welcomes your support.
