Woodvale Library is running a series of free youth workshops over the September school holidays to empower young people aged 15-18,  and support them to develop skills, knowledge and confidence as they prepare to enter the workforce.

11am-12.30pm - Crush it in customer service.

12.30pm-1pm - Lunch supplied.

1pm-2pm - Workshop - Bringing young people back to the library.

The workshops will be delivered by Ava from Edge Communication.

Attendees will learn:

• the vital link between internal and external customer service


• how to convey a positive first impression


• how to build rapport and trust


• the importance of taking ownership


• the 3Vs of communication - verbal, vocal, visual


• how to use customer focused language to covnvey a yes-we-can atitude


• how to comminucate effectively over the telephone


• how to de-escalate customer dissatisaction with the use of empathy.
