WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Immerse yourself in the world of Oolong tea through a sensory experience of sight, smell and taste. Tania will guide you through the key flavour stages of Oolongs and introduce two Taiwanese Oolongs that are amongst the few teas in the world to be created through natural intervention.  The spectrum of Oolongs makes this tea a natural choice for food pairing and a joy to present as a cold or hot beverage. Whether you love Green or Black tea, Oolongs covers all flavour preferences.  You decide which is your favourite tea as you taste your way through a beautiful range of Taiwan Oolongs.

Tea is more than a delicious beverage - it takes you on a path of continual learning that bridges different cultures, builds friendships and a desire to travel to the lands of this amazing drink. My company, Cuppa Cha, specialises in Single Estate Teas that celebrate the tea farmers through direct sourcing. I have travelled to Taiwan, China and America for intensive study with tea farmers, scientists and professionals. I work within the tea industry to create great experiences for the tea drinker and to build a better understanding of the Oolong tea family.

LOCATION
Melbourne Exhibition Centre Building, Doors 1 and 2, at 2 Clarendon Street South Wharf, Victoria (opposite Crown Casino).  The workshop space is located in the Hospitality Suites upstairs from Doors 1 and 2. The entry is outside of the main festival entrance doors. Follow the signs.

TICKET INFO
A workshop ticket *does not* include entry into the festival. This must be purchased separately. You can access the workshop space without entering the festival doors. The ticket does include a festival tasting cup, booking fee and gst. The ticket price does not include a credit card processing fee.
