Discovery Outbound - AGWA Forecast

City of Joondalup Libraries’ Discovery Outbound program offers a wide range of activities and excursions for adults aged 50 and older that are active, creative, educational and entertaining.

Forecast, at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, is equal parts exhibition, artist studio, retreat and creative weather station where audiences are invited to participate and contribute to a daily changing installation.  Additionaly you will go on a guided tour of the Art Gallery of WA with a break in between to find refreshments of choice at nearby Cultural Precinct or Northbridge establishments. 

9.15 Meet at Whitford Library

10.30 - 11.30 Tour of gallery or Forecast session commences

11.30 - 12.30 Free time for exploring and eating 

12.30 - 1.30 Tour of gallery or Forecast session commences

1.45pm Depart Art Gallery of Western Australia and return to Whitford Library 

(a big group may be split across 2 consecutive exhibition sessions) 

Ticket price includes return trip by bus from Whitford Library plus the Forecast Exhibition and Workshop.

• Concession (City of Joondalup residents only) $5

Notes: 
Adult tickets are available to any adults aged 50 and older. Only City of Joondalup residents who hold a valid WA Seniors, Commonwealth Seniors Health or Pensioner Concession card may purchase Concession tickets.

Cancellations and refunds: 
A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. No individual refunds or credits will be given for general non-attendance.
