Discovery Outbound - Army Museum of WA

City of Joondalup Libraries’ Discovery Outbound program offers a wide range of activities and excursions for adults aged 50 and older that are active, creative, educational and entertaining.

Learn all about the history of wartime at the Army Museum of Western Australia.  Be guided through the exhibitions by one of the many volunteers or spend time exploring at your own pace before finding somewhere to enjoy refreshments nearby in the beautiful city of Fremantle.  Please note that all adult visitors to the museum must have valid ID to gain entry. 

9.15am: meet at Whitford Library to depart on bus at 9.30am

10.30am: explore the Army Museum of Western Australia.  Buy refreshments from nearby establishments

1.00pm: depart Fremantle and return to Whitford Library. 

The group will be split into smaller tours run by musuem volunteers.

Ticket price includes return trip by bus from Whitford Library plus entry to the Museum.

• Concession (City of Joondalup residents only) $8

Notes: 
Adult tickets are available to any adults aged 50 and older. Only City of Joondalup residents who hold a valid WA Seniors, Commonwealth Seniors Health or Pensioner Concession card may purchase Concession tickets.

Cancellations and refunds: 
A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. No individual refunds or credits will be given for general non-attendance.
