Discovery Outbound - Gravity Discovery Tour

City of Joondalup Libraries’ Discovery Outbound program offers a wide range of activities and excursions for adults aged 50 and older that are active, creative, educational and entertaining.

The Gravity Discovery Centre has something for everyone - from astronomy to Astrophysics and Indigenous culture to biodiversity! It is situated within the Yeal Nature Reserve halfway between Yanchep National Park and Gingin. There are numerous galleries, walk trails and the infamous Leaning Tower! 

Ticket price options include a guided tour plus a two course lunch. You are welcome to purchase the tour only priced ticket and bring your own snacks/lunch if you do not wish to purchase their lunch option add on. 

9am: depart Whitford Library on the two Community Transport buses

10am: guided tour in 2 groups

11 - 12pm: Pre-ordered lunch 

12 - 1pm: Free time to look around 

1pm: Depart for Whitford Library  

Ticket price includes return trip by bus from Whitford Library and guided tour plus meal if you choose. Or BYO snacks.

Notes: 

Please be aware this excursion may require some bushwalk/walking along gravel pathways and standing during tour.

Cancellations and refunds: 
A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. No individual refunds or credits will be given for general non-attendance.
