Discovery Outbound - Festival exhibits and eats

City of Joondalup Libraries’ Discovery Outbound program offers a wide range of activities and excursions for adults aged 50 and older that are active, creative, educational and entertaining.

Explore the amazing creations at the exhibitions on show at our very own Joondalup Festival.  Avoid the parking limitations and firstly enjoy the bus ride over from Whitford Library to be dropped off at the door of the Joondalup Library and Civic Centre.  Then start your tour of the four exhibitions and meet one of the artists who will also be putting on a demo of their ceramic work. Finally, enjoy and discuss all things art and culture with your Discovery Outbound friends.  Feel free to grab a book from the library and sort out any council matters in the admin building while you are here too! 

9.00am: Meet at Whitford Library to board bus departing 9.15

9.30-10.30am: Explore exhibitions 

10.30am: Talk and demo by Rosemary Helmis ceramic artist 

11am: Morning tea in library and free time 

12.30pm: bus departs to return to Whitford Library 

Ticket price includes return trip by bus from Whitford Library plus a light morning tea

Cancellations and refunds: 
A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. No individual refunds or credits will be given for general non-attendance.
