Discovery Outbound - Leighton Battery

City of Joondalup Libraries’ Discovery Outbound program offers a wide range of activities and excursions for adults aged 50 and older that are active, creative, educational and entertaining.

Go deep into the history of the Leighton Battery and Tunnels in Mosman Park by joining us on this exclusive midweek tour. This is not an accessible excursion as there are multiple stairs to go in and out of the tunnels. With Anzac Day being so close, feel a sense of connection to our history of wartime defence and sacrifice throughout the years. 

8.45am - meet at Whitford Library to depart 9am

10.00am - guided tours in smaller groups followed by free time to explore.  BYO snacks and refreshments to enjoy on site

12.30pm - depart on bus.

Ticket price includes return trip by bus from Whitford Library and tour.
