Discovery Outbound - Perth Festival VR Safari

City of Joondalup Libraries’ Discovery Outbound program offers a wide range of activities and excursions for adults aged 50 and older that are active, creative, educational and entertaining.

Presented by Perth Festival, the Ultimate Safari at the WA State Theatre Centre, is an immersive and interactive adventure into the heart of Africa.  Be transported into the safari plains of Tanzania from the comfort of your (faux) zebra skin stool.  A 360 degree exploration of wildlife conservation and tourism, this immersive adventure thrusts you headlong into the action via VR goggles which are worn throughout the performance.  

10.45am Meet at Whitford Library, arrive Northbridge and free time to get refreshments. 11.45am Prepare to enter WA State Theatre Centre for 12pm Show (90min) 

1.50pm Bus departs to return to Whitford Library. 

Ticket price includes return trip by bus from Whitford Library plus the Ultimate Safari show

• Concession (City of Joondalup residents only) $20

Notes: 
Adult tickets are available to any adults aged 50 and older. Only City of Joondalup residents who hold a valid WA Seniors, Commonwealth Seniors Health or Pensioner Concession card may purchase Concession tickets.

A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. No individual refunds or credits will be given for general non-attendance.
