City of Joondalup Libraries’ Discovery Outbound program offers a wide range of activities and excursions for adults aged 50 and older that are active, creative, educational and entertaining. We have the cinema to ourselves so let all your friends know, the more the merrier!
'The Revelation Perth International Film Festival presents the opportunity for City of Joondalup residents to dive headfirst into the best international films hot off the film festival and arthouse scene as part of this 2025 event. The program team has scoured through hundreds of films that will be on show and have found one very special screening just for you. You'll be seeing 'Mr Burton' ahead of it's release date later this year. A touching warm and gentle film telling the story of actor Richard Burton. It's time to get excited about this special event - that will include a rather special morning tea!' Richard Sowada, Festival Director.
9.30am: Bus departs Whitford Library
10am: Arrive Luna Leederville for morning tea followed by screening of 'Mr Burton'
1pm: Depart for Whitford Library
Ticket price includes feature film, morning tea and bus ride.

A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. No individual refunds or credits will be given for general non-attendance.
