Discovery Outbound - Sculptures By the Sea 2026

City of Joondalup Libraries’ Discovery Outbound program offers a wide range of activities and excursions for adults aged 50 and older that are active, creative, educational and entertaining.

Join us on a bus ride to Cottesloe Beach to explore the iconic Sculpture by the Sea exhibition. Wander around the beach and foreshore at your own pace to enjoy the return of the annual exhibition of work by local and international artists.   This will be a 'beach access' day where special matting will be installed for visitors in wheelchairs or with limited mobility so you can access the sculptures on the beach.  Grab a coffee, gelato or some fish and chips from nearby establishments before the bus returns to Whitford Library. 

Meet at Whitford Library 8.45am; bus departs 9am, returning by 12.30pm.

Exhibition catalogue available for purchase on the day from onsite marquee. 

Remember to bring sun protection and bottled water.

A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. No individual refunds or credits will be given for general non-attendance.
