Discovery Session - Accidental Counsellor Workshop

The Accidental Counsellor is a full day workshop providing participants with the skills to talk to someone going through a difficult time, such as having relationship issues, not coping with life or feeling helpless.

This full day workshop presented by Helping Minds will:

• Define the role of Accidental Counsellor;


• Help someone identify their strengths;


• Reframe their thinking to give different perspectives;


• Explore the differences between supporting, helping and rescuing;


• Look at the desirable traits and skills for an accidental counsellor.

Cancellations and Refunds: 

A program will only be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments received one day prior to the event or due to factors beyond the City’s control. No individual refunds or credits will be given for general non-attendance.
