Discovery Session - Birds of prey

Time to get up close and personal with natures top predators. Learn to identify a variety of birds of prey, what they eat, where they live, while having the opportunity for hands-on interactions. 


You will also learn how unique these birds are, what role they play in our environment and how susceptible they are to human activity. 


About Western Australian Birds of Prey Centre  


The Western Australian Bird of Prey Centre was established in 2000 and moved its base to the Swan Valley in 2005.  Owner, Yvonne Sitko is passionate about survival of these magnificent birds for future generations. The centre is heavily involved in rehabilitation and conservation, and also education through entertainment in the form of mobile displays. It is also the home of the famous West Coast Eagles mascot, Auzzie, the Wedge-tailed Eagle. 


Cost $5. Book and pay online. 


Please note, the presentation will run for approximately 1.5 hours and refreshments are included.
